Extra Sensory Perception (ESP) are senses that go beyond the typical 5 senses of touch, taste, sight, smell, and hearing. It is sometimes referred to as a 6^th sense, however, there is more than one form of ESP. ESP includes, but is not limited by, Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Clairsentience, Claircognizance, telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation (not proven or common)

Remote viewing (RV) is the ability to obtain information about distant or non-local places, people, objects, or events without using physical senses. It is related to clairvoyance. Sometimes referred to as ‘anamolous cognitio’ or ‘second sight’,  Remote Viewing is also considered a form of non-local awareness and may be proved through using the theory of Quantum Entanglement.

History

During the cold war, the U.S. government was interested in training psychics and using psychic espionage. The soviets heard rumors that the U.S. military was using psychic communications at sea, so they started their own psychic training within the military and intelligence agencies. When the U.S. government heard that the Soviets were training personnel in the early 1970s, they also began their own remote viewing CIA training program

Ingo Swan (1933-2013)

Ingo Swann was a psychic best known for his research and development in the field of remote viewing. He teamed up with Harold Puthoff and Russell Targ to create the Standford Institute of Remote Viewing and later the CIA Stargate Project.

Swann was born in Telluride, Colorado on September 14, 1933, and first remembers leaving his body at the age of 3 years old during an operation to remove his tonsils. He could see “butterfly lights” around people, plants, and animals which he later learned were auras.

At age 9 he believed he had remotely traveled to the Milky Way and was famous for claiming that he sent his consciousness to Jupiter ahead of NASA’s Voyager probe. He was able to describe many of the planet’s features that were not known to the public. He was a painter who explored universal themes, one example was the work called The Light Bringer. A musician and writer, he authored Penetration: The Question of Extraterrestrial and Human Telepathy (1988). Swann died on January 31, 2013, in New York City

Russell Targ (April 11, 1934 – ? )

Russell Targ is a physicist at eh SRI that researched to prove if ESP was real. Together with a fellow colleague, Physicist, Harold Putoff, they rounded up several psychics and began testing them. The first psychic they tested was the artist/psychic Ingo Swann, of New York City. They were able to quantifiably prove that he could remote view the weather is various US cities. Targ published books on ESP and psychokinesis, which is the ability to affect distant objects with the mind, after working with researcher Gertrude Schmeidler of City College, New York, and the American Society for Psychical Research. Targ proposed that the four-dimensional theory of spacetime, which is three special dimensions and one-time dimension, needed revision as it was not accurate. Uri Gellar was another notable psychic who was involved in this program and spoke openly of his views of Ingo Swan and the project in recent memoirs.

Harold E Puthoff (June 20, 1936 – ? )

Harold E Puthoff was an Amerian engineer and parapsychologist in the 1970s and 1980s. He directed a CIA funded program in Sri to investigate paranormal abilities. He worked with Russell Targ in a study of the psychic abilities of Uri Geller, Ingo Swann, Pat Price, Joseph McMoneagle, as part of the Stargate project. He also had a connection to the Church of Scientology.

The Munroe Institute

The Munroe Institute, founded by Robert Munroe, was initially involved in the training of military personnel but is now an educational institution that focuses on Remote Viewing  Munroe developed the Hemi-Sync sound system and the Gateway Experience to help get into the optimal states to remote view.

This is done by associating something easy to view with something more difficult to view.

Extended Remote Viewing-ERV

The Viewer lies down on a bed, couch, or recliner while a skilled hypnotist or monitor interviews the Viewer about the target.

Controlled Remote Viewing-CRV

A method designed to help the viewer separate true psychic perception from imagination. As thoughts come in, CRV allows you to organize them. It also uses ideograms (Symbols that the viewer develops to connect to various aspects of the Target Site.

Basic Remote Viewing Techniques 

• Get into a clear space through meditation. RV is successful and possible with a settled mind
• You are given coordinates for a location
• You may tune in with eyes open or closed (or open to draw and closed to tune into it)
• You are asked to describe the location without interpreting it
• Do not attempt to identify the target
• Write everything down
• Pay attention to sensory and dimensional information in your mental images

Difference between Remote Viewing, Astral Travel and OBE’S

The difference between astral projection and remote viewing is the controlled use of extrasensory perception. Remote viewing uses a specific method (controlled) to perceive a target form great distances and even across time. An out of body experience is when the spirit leaves the body, whereas remote viewing is staying in the body and perceiving a person, place, or thing at a distance and across time.

Psychic Perspective of Remote Viewing

In considering the feasibility of a psychic to know what is happening on Jupiter, the spacetime distance must be zero. This is connected to the principle of locality, or “an object can only be directly influenced by its immediate surrounding.” Quantum Entanglement basically states that any two particles in spacetime are actually connected and can affect each other even when they’re far apart. This is a theory of Non-locality. Russell Targ was one example of a psychic that worked in this way. It is possible to train in RV but just as effective to use psychic tools to ‘see’ targets.

You may learn more about remote viewing by reading any books written by those who participated such as Joe McMoneagle, Lyn Buchanan, Paul Smith, Ingo Swan, Dale Graff, Uri Gellar, or any of the researchers like Russell Targ or Ed May who conducted and analyzed the early experiments. There are also books from those who independently studied RV after the official program ended. Authors such as Dean Radin, Courtney Brown, or Angela Thompson Smith.
