In 2008, Psychic Medium Lorrie The Pet Psychic located a couple’s lost Chihuahua, Tinker Bell. 72 – year-old Lavern and Dorothy Utley of Rochester, New York were in a panic when their six-pound Chihuahua went missing when a 70-mph wind picked her up at a flea market and literally blew her away. A volunteer search came up empty-handed. That is when they turned to the psychic medium who told them that she could see that Tinker Bell was still alive and an area to look for the dog. They were reunited and credited the work of Lorrie to being able to find her in time. The story gained attention and Lorrie was asked to share her story on Oprah, NPR, and CNN.
Margaret Coates is a world-renowned horse communicator and healer. She is sought after across the world and will often be brought in by horse trainers and breeders to help in emergency situations. One example was when a horse had just delivered a foal and the foal required four men to keep it upright. The foal had been weak and paralyzed for over 48 hours, refused to suckle, and they were worried he wouldn’t make it. Coates was quickly brought in and while reading the horse, she found an energy blockage and quickly removed it. Very soon thereafter the horse recovered and was running with her mother.
Meg Dolittle (yes, this is her actual name) from Toronto, Canada, is an animal communicator who goes by the nickname “The Modern Day Dr. Doolittle”. Unsatisfied with her career in marketing, she always had an intuitive gift and felt the presence of guides. When her life was at a crossroads she was guided to start her work in animal communication. Dolittle once had a woman bring in a puppy for a reading. The woman, expecting a light and fun reading received a message from her new pet that she needs to let go of the grieving in her heart for her mother who had passed on 10 years prior. Letting go of these feelings, healing, and moving on would allow the puppy to fulfill their purpose and role of being joy and light in her life. Animal communicator Mary Stevenson, From Alberta, Canada, says that the demand for her work is higher than ever. In a 2018 article in the Toronto Star, she noted how anyone can be intuitive if they take the time to develop their abilities. Stevenson works with dog trainers, rescue owners, zookeepers, Equestrians, breeders, and is even contacted by pet owners on referral from veterinarians when there is a challenging case. She is able to provide healing and comfort and notices that pets often share the same issues as their owners as they are connected in the heart space.
Sonia Fitzpatrick is one of the most well-known pet psychics in the world. She works with celebrity clients and had her own show, The Pet Psychic, on Animal Planet network. She may also be heard on Animal Intuition on SiriusXM Sattelite Radio. Sonia specializes in communicating with deceased pets as well as lost pets. She has a knack for getting to the core of unusual behaviors and habits. She lives in Texas with 17 animals, including 3 pet frogs.
Buck Brannaman, The Horse Whisperer, and Cesar Milan, The Dog Whisperer are examples of trainers that are not pet psychics but rather experts on animal behavior. It is quite possible to consider that after years of working with animals, tuning into their behaviors and the underlying issues, that they are in fact working on an intuitive level and creating deep bonds with their subjects.
How to Tune Into Your Pet
- Find a quiet place to meditate, get calm, and centered
- Although you do not need your pet present, you may have them in the room with you
- Send their name to them in your mind
- You may project an image of them out to them to connect
- Say hello in spirit and ask them if there is anything that they would want or need. Or simply listen
- Keep the exercise short
- If you receive any intuition, images or messages, thank your pet and end the session
- All you really have to do is get quiet and centered and listen and observe, you may be more aware of your pet or animal’s needs more than you realize
A Psychic Perspective
From a psychic perspective, it is within the realm of possibility to connect in spirit with any life, whether here or on another plane of existence. Psychics may connect with an animal’s energy and receive messages, communicating telepathically. Telepathy is the communication of thoughts and ideas using ESP, in the form of ‘clairs’ (Such as clairvoyance, clairsentience, claircognizance).
